How to get started

The Brain Gym® Instructor track is for professional members who wish to go deeper into the Brain Gym® program, allowing them to teach more courses and work privately with clients.
Level 1 Courses
Brain Gym® 101 (24 hours) Brain Gym® 101 Repeat (24 hours) Four Case Studies
Level 2 Courses
1. 201 Optimal Brain Organisation (16 hours)* 2. Anatomy/Kinesiology min. 14 hours - e.g. Touch for Health 1
Level 3 Courses
1. 301 Edu-K InDepth (24 hours) 2. 3 Case Studies using Edu-K InDepth 3. Written exam?
Electives/Practical Application
Choose 16 hours Electives from levels 100, 200 or 300 from the Brain Gym International Website.

Sign Contract and Enrolment Agreement with BTI
BTI, Breakthroughs International, holds the Trademark for the Brain Gym brand. This contract is valid for 4 years. During these 4 years 24 credits need to be obtained to maintain validity of the licence.
Pay annual membership
You need to be an active member to be able to offer paid courses. Membership fee can be paid directly to BTI or your country's BG Affiliate.

* Open to students who have taken Brain Gym 101
** Bring 4 completed BG101 Case Studies to class

Course hours will approximately be 128 hours.
The course of study will take approximately 18 months to two years. This time includes course hours (approx. 108 hours), home study and practical application hours.

Maintaining your Professional Instructor or
Consultant Status
Requirements
1. Be a current Instructor/Consultant registered with Breakthroughs International or the BG Affiliate in your country (membership renewed annually).
2. Have a current Instructor/Consultant sub-licence agreement, which includes having 24 credit points of continuing professional development in Brain Gym/Edu-K in a 4-year period through:
- Edu-K courses listed on the BTI Website
- Edu-K Conference hours
- Participating in Forums or Faculty update days
- Giving service to the Community
- Participating in non-Edu-K courses as listed on the international website
Special Notes
1. Under the current licensure requirements, ALL courses on the Edu-K curriculum count towards maintaining your professional status.
2. For courses at levels 100, 200 and 300 that are regularly offered in your country, see the Courses section on the Affiliate website. For a full list of courses available go to www.braingym.org.
3. Students are encouraged to experience the work from different instructors and consultants.
4. If you wish to teach in any other country you will need to ensure that you have fulfilled the licensure process for that country and have contacted the International Faculty member in charge of curriculum in that country prior to organising any class.

- Having their contact information listed on our website
- Posting their course schedules on our website
- Earning an official Licensed Brain Gym® Instructor logo for use in marketing materials
- Teaching Brain Gym® 104 (provided either an Update or BG110 was attended during the licensure process)
- Teaching BG101 and any other courses on the Brain Gym curriculum for which one completes the training
- Providing private sessions in exchange for a fee
- Receiving publications from Breakthroughs International
All Licensed Movement Facilitators and Licensed Instructors are independent contractors who oversee their own schedules, course registration, and fees.
